John Runk

John is the Director of Finance & Head of Corporate Development at PathAI, a Boston-based healthcare technology company developing comprehensive AI-powered precision pathology tools to improve patient outcomes. He led PathAI's transformational acquisition of Poplar Healthcare and continues to focus on scaling the adoption, value and patient impact of the PathAI technology platform. Prior to joining PathAI, he invested in founder-led software companies at Providence Equity Partners, a $30 billion private equity firm specializing in growth-oriented investments across software, media and technology. He joined Providence Equity Partners from Barclays, where he worked in the Global Industrials M&A Group. John received his B.A. in History from Yale University.
