Urvi Kanakaraj

Urvi Kanakaraj is a software quality engineer at PathAI. Urvi has also worked as a test lead and V&V engineer at Abiomed, where they led a team of 8 software test engineers for manual and automated testing in an Agile environment. At Abiomed, they also enhanced and expanded the Python Test Automation Framework (TAF) in BDD format to automate more product requirements per release. Urvi has also authored and reviewed test methods, descriptions, protocols, and reports thoroughly in JAMA. Urvi has also been actively involved in Agile retrospective and process improvement activities.

Urvi Kanakaraj has a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Urvi also has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from SRM University. In addition, they have certification from AAMI in Integrating Risk Management into the Product Life Cycle, from SoftwareCPR in IEC 62304 and Emerging Standards and FDA Expectations for Medical Device and Health IT Software Training Course, and from AAMI in Human Factors for Medical Devices. Urvi also has certification from MITx on edX in Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python, from Coursera Course Certificates in The Data Scientist’s Toolbox, and from Coursera Course Certificates in First Step Korean. Finally, they have certification from ASQ - World Headquarters in ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer, and from American Society for Quality (ASQ) - MENA in Internal Auditing Basics.
