Dan Owens is the current Chief Technology Officer at PatientPoint. Dan has also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at eVerifile and TechCXO. Dan Owens has over 20 years of experience in technology and software development.

Dan Owens began their career as a software developer for a small tech company. Dan then went on to become the Chief Technology Officer for eVerifile. During their time at eVerifile, they helped the company build a proprietary platform to manage the end-to-end process of on-boarding, training and credentialing contractor talent. In November 2017, Owens left eVerifile to become the Chief Technology Officer at PatientPoint. At PatientPoint, Owens has continued to revolutionize patient education by developing innovative, completely customized and targeted solutions to reach patients and providers when and where it matters most.

Dan Owens has a B.S. in Aviation from Moody Bible Institute, a Master of Public Administration from Georgia State University, and a Business degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dan also has a Diploma in High School/Secondary Diploma Programs from Christian Academy of Knoxville. Dan is certified by Ministry Ventures in Certified Ministry Mastery, the Anglican Dioces of The South in Ordained Minister, ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) in Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability Accreditation, and the FAA in Commercial Pilot Single Engine Land Certificate.

They work with Melissa Mcmahon - Chief People Officer, Pat O’Brien - Chief Financial Officer, and Bill Jennings - Chief Digital Officer. Dan Owens reports to Mike Collette, Chief Executive Officer.
