Milena Doycheva

Milena Doycheva is the current Chief of Staff at Payhawk. Prior to their current position, they served as the Program Head for International Business at Monbat Group from October 2019 to March 2022. In this role, they managed nine international subsidiaries of Monbat located in various countries, supervised business strategy, commercial and marketing planning, operations, financial reporting and cash flow management.

Before their time at Monbat Group, Milena worked as a Senior Manager at PwC Bulgaria from April 2013 to July 2019. During their time at PwC, they focused on the Retail & Consumer sector and was responsible for business development, pipeline building, and setting up a regional practice in Southeast Europe. Milena also led a format strategy project for a DIY retailer & grocery retailer, an organisational restructuring project at a leading DIY retailer, and two large-scale projects for a large FMCG wholesaler (involving the development of an e-commerce strategy and the optimization of end-to-end supply chain operations). In addition, Milena served as the project manager of a growth/transformation strategy project for a DIY retailer, involving the facilitation of top management workshops. Milena also defined a strategy (for readiness for geographical expansion) programme for a large pharma wholesaler and retailer in Southeast Europe.

Milena Doycheva has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) First Class Hons from King's College London in Business Management. Milena also has A levels from Hurtwood House and pre & IGCSEs from St. George's International School, Switzerland.

They are on a team with Ivan Linev - Head of Compliance, Natalie Reiss - Head of Creative Strategy, and Rynhardt van Heerden - Head of Partnerships. Milena Doycheva reports to Hristo Borisov, Co-Founder & CEO.
