Rafael Arana

Rafael Arana is a finance professional with extensive experience in strategic and corporate development roles. Currently serving as Senior Director of Finance and Senior Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at Paylocity since June 2022, Rafael has a solid background in investment banking, having held various positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from July 2015 to June 2022, including Director of Software Investment Banking and Vice President in the same field. Prior experience includes a role as Project Leader at Grupo Porvenir from 2011 to 2013 and a summer associate position in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2014. Rafael holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the University of Richmond - Robins School of Business.
