Tselmeg Shponko

Tselmeg Shponko is a seasoned professional in risk management and fraud prevention with extensive experience across leading financial technology companies. Currently serving as Senior Director of Global Risk Solutions at PayPal since October 2025, Tselmeg previously held a similar role at SoFi and worked with Stripe in risk partnerships. During tenure at Visa from January 2014 to August 2021, Tselmeg led global initiatives in fraud and dispute monitoring, contributed to the development of risk policies for emerging categories, and oversaw compliance with regulatory requirements. Tselmeg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from the University of San Francisco School of Management.
