James Redfern is the current Chief Financial Officer at PayScale. Prior to joining PayScale, James spent 4 years as the VP of Corporate Development, Finance & Strategy at Workday. There, James was responsible for leading the company's corporate development function and executing 10+ M&A deals and 10 direct investments totaling $1.8Bn+. James also successfully led the 500-person integration of Adaptive Insights.

Before Workday, James spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley as the Executive Director of Technology Investment Banking. During their tenure there, they managed 5 public company quarterly earnings processes and a 100+ person Analyst Day. James also led the ASC606 metrics transition with investors.

James has a proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex initiatives. Their experience spans across corporate development, finance, strategy, and investor relations. Under James' leadership, PayScale is well-positioned for continued success.

James Redfern has an MBA from the Wharton School, a MA in International Relations from The Lauder Institute - University of Pennsylvania, and a BA/MA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from Oriel College, Oxford. James also has a Strategic Financial Leadership Program from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
