Rick Blomquist

Rick Blomquist is Vice President and General Manager of Pet-Ag, Inc., a subsidiary of PBI-Gordon Companies, Inc. Rick joined the organization in June 2012 to lead the creation of the company’s over-the-counter animal health business unit. In 2013, he led the PBI-Gordon acquisition of Pet-Ag, the animal health industry’s leading neonate nutrition business. The acquisition laid the foundation for the new Pet-Ag business unit, and its subsequent growth has made Pet-Ag a leader in the animal health industry.

Rick has vast experience in both the companion animal and equine markets from a 29-year career with Farnam Companies where he served as president and CEO. He was also president of Consumer Branded Products for the Central Life Sciences division of Central Garden and Pet. Throughout his nearly three-decades with Farnam Companies, Rick led many of the company’s new product and business development initiatives and added numerous industry leading brands to their portfolio.

Rick earned a bachelor’s degree of science in business administration from the W.A. Franke College of Business at Northern Arizona University.
