Tim Deppen

Tim Deppen is a Senior Lead Engineer at PC Krause and Associates, specializing in the modeling and control of aerospace systems since July 2015. Prior to this role, Tim was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Alleyne Research Group at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2014 to August 2015. Tim also served as President of Servabo Inc. from June 2013 to August 2015, and as a Dynamic Systems Simulation Engineer at John Deere, where work involved vehicle dynamics modeling across various software platforms. Tim's academic background includes a PhD and a combined BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with research focusing on energy optimization in mobile systems and contributions to projects such as a hydrogen storage ship during an internship with the Office of Naval Research. Additionally, Tim has experience as a graduate student, teaching assistant, and intern at Boeing.
