PCMA hires John Tait as VP of Direct Channel Originations

Non-bank private lending service PCMA has named John Tait as its new VP of Direct Channel Originations. In his role, Mr. Tait will lead the Direct Channel roll-out of PCMA’s Experiential Process of Service program, reporting to Founder and CEO John R. Lynch. “John is a skilled financial expert in the private client space, with a thorough understanding of how important experiential service is to building client trust,” said Mr. Lynch. “John’s impact on the team and culture at PCMA has been felt almost immediately. His addition to the team is the perfect way to kick off 2021.” With nearly 20 years of experience, Mr. Tait is an expert in mortgage banking, wealth management and capital markets. He most recently served as CEO of Coastal Mortgage, Inc., leading its Ultra-High Net Worth portfolio lending programs, and he has previously been a FINRA and SEC-registered Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. “My role at PCMA forges almost 20 years of experience in the residential lending, capital markets and wealth management into one amazing role,” said Mr. Tait. “I am joining an exceptional team at PCMA; a team that has elevated expertise in asset creation and client experience at the highest levels of our industry.”

Rick Cortez appointed VP, Training and Development at PCMA

Non-bank lending company PCMA has named Rick Cortez as its new Vice President of Training and Development. “I am excited to be working with Rick again. His departure from my previous company early on his career allowed him time to develop skillsets and tools that can transform performance and culture at PCMA,” said PCMA Founder and CEO John Lynch. “We continue to add amazing talent to the PCMA roster; Rick’s talents will help fuel PCMA’s continued internal growth and further cement our knowledge and leadership in the Private Client space.” Mr. Cortez comes to PCMA from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where he was a senior trainer for Financial Advisors working in the Private Client market. He has extensive Private Client experience, including as a Supervisor at JP Morgan Chase, where he managed and trained negotiators. “The ultimate success of a company starts with a great executive team with unwavering vision. I am excited to begin developing training assets and protocols based on that vision and the DNA of PCMA,” said Mr. Cortez. “I am excited to partner with the exceptional talent already in place at PCMA and believe my passion to serve the PCMA team will fuel the continued growth and success of the company both internally and externally.”
