Alejandra Quintero

Alejandra Quintero is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in program support and volunteer placement across international education and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as a Country Desk Officer for the Europe, Mediterranean and Asia Region at the Peace Corps since April 2018, Alejandra has also held various roles within the organization, including Senior Volunteer Placement and Assessment Specialist and Education Volunteer. Additionally, Alejandra is the Latinx Liaison for The Choice Program at UMBC from August 2023 to May 2025. Previous experience includes participant recruitment for American Councils for International Education and providing administrative support as an Executive Assistant at Exhibits Development Group. Alejandra holds a Master of Social Work in Leadership, Policy, and Social Change from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Minnesota.
