Michele Kulhanek, MSN, RNC currently serves as the System Perinatal Safety Officer at PeaceHealth since May 2021. Prior to this role, Michele held positions including Director of Safety and Quality for Maternal-Infant Health and Program Manager for Honoring Choices PNW at the Washington State Hospital Association from July 2018 to May 2021. Michele also worked as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Washington School of Nursing in late 2018, and as a Registered Nurse specializing in High Risk Obstetrics at the University of Washington Medical Center from January 2017 to July 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Manager and Perinatal Educator at Harrison Medical Center's Family Birth Center and as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery. Michele holds a Master's degree in Nursing Education and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from Western Governors University, along with an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing from Olympic College.
