Janita Tasa is an experienced healthcare professional specializing in midwifery and child protection. Currently serving as an Advisor at Pelastakaa Lapset ry - Save the Children Finland since January 2020, Janita focuses on child protection and serves as a Finnish Hotline analyst, actively combating child sexual abuse. Prior roles include Coordinator at Mannerheimin Lastensuojeluliiton Uudenmaan piiri ry, where Janita coordinated activities aimed at supporting immigrant mothers, and positions as a midwife at the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS) with extensive responsibilities in delivery rooms and emergency care for pregnant women.
