Rafael Verde

In his role as Senior VP, Regional Operations, Rafael oversees all operations at Penn’s properties in Illinois, Ohio and Indiana, as well as Greektown Casino in Detroit.

Over the last eight years with Penn, Rafael has served as General Manager of Zia Park Casino, Hollywood Casino Aurora, Hollywood Casino Toledo and Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course.

Prior to Penn, Rafael gained over 18 years of regional and international gaming experience in finance and operations with Pinnacle Entertainment and Argosy Gaming.

Rafael holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern University and A&M College-Baton Rouge and an MBA from the University of New Orleans.
