Amr El Mantawi

Amr El Mantawi is a dedicated Research Scholar at Penn State University, involved in creating a blood flow simulation framework using physics-informed neural networks and Nvidia Modulus since August 2024. As President of the IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu Epsilon Chapter, Amr has successfully led chapter meetings, organized professional events, and managed recruitment and member engagement. Amr has also contributed as a Software Engineer at Nittany Motorsports, focusing on embedded C firmware development for an RTOS-based STM microcontroller, while enhancing system performance through multithreading. Previous experiences include an internship as an Enterprise SSD Firmware Engineer at Samsung Semiconductor, working on NVMe-CLI commands, and serving as a Learning Assistant and Research Assistant at Penn State University, where Amr supported students in computer engineering concepts and developed models using graph neural networks. Amr's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Minor in Physics from Penn State University, anticipated completion in 2025.
