Shawn Proper

Shawn Proper is an experienced banking professional currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Director of Mortgage and Consumer Lending at Pennian Bank since September 2023. Prior to this role, Shawn held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Banking Officer at Brentwood Bank from August 2022 to July 2023. Shawn's extensive background in mortgage and consumer lending includes more than 17 years at Mars Bank as Senior Vice President, along with a brief tenure as Transaction Center Manager at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh. Shawn's career began at Mercer County State Bank, where a role as Secondary Market Manager provided foundational experience. Educationally, Shawn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Grove City College, completed in January 1992, and is a graduate of Lakeview High School.
