Amanda Shimko, esq. has extensive experience in governmental roles, currently serving as Chief of Staff to Senator Marty Flynn in the Pennsylvania State Senate since March 2022. Prior to this position, Amanda held various roles in the City of Philadelphia, including Deputy Director and Manager of the Office of Benefits and Wage Compliance from December 2018 to March 2022. Amanda also worked as the Municipal Voting Reform Campaign Manager for Pennsylvania Voice and gained legal experience as a Law Clerk in the Pennsylvania State Senate, where responsibilities included drafting legislation and internal memoranda. Amanda's early career included roles as a Legal Intern at the Lackawanna County District Attorney's Office and a Staff Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives. Amanda holds a Juris Doctorate from Widener University Commonwealth Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from King's College.
