Jeffrey P. Grogin

Jeffrey P. Grogin has been Senior Managing Director of Government Relations of PennyMac Financial Services, Inc. (NYSE: PFSI) since September 2021. His areas of responsibility include: regulatory and government relations, managing relationships with government-sponsored and government-owned agencies, overseeing interactions with federal and state regulators and examiners, directing federal and state licensing efforts, and defining and executing PennyMac’s public policy strategy. Mr. Grogin has significant experience in real estate, regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and mortgage banking law. He also serves as Senior Managing Director of Government Relations for PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust (NYSE: PMT).

Previously, Mr. Grogin served as the company’s Senior Managing Director and Chief Enterprise Operations Officer and has held various executive positions with the company since its founding in 2008.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Grogin was a founding and managing partner of Samaha Grogin, LLP, a law firm representing local, national and international clients in specialized litigation and complex transactional matters. He also was an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions, securities, and mortgage banking-related matters.

Mr. Grogin is an owner of Snood, LLC, a computer games publisher, where he has served as president since 1999.

Mr. Grogin earned his B.S. in journalism from the University of Florida and his J.D., cum laude, from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California.
