Tamora Petitt

Tamora Petitt is a seasoned professional in the field of User Experience (UX) design with extensive experience, currently serving as the Sr. Director of UX Design at Dotdash Meredith since May 2023. Prior roles include Director of UX Design at General Assembly, where significant contributions were made in leading user research and experience design for various platforms, as well as mentoring over 100 students in UX design. Tamora also held the position of President at the NYC User Experience Professionals Association, where strategic vision was established for the organization. Other notable experience includes co-founding Experience Design Partners, managing the first UX team at WebMD, and introducing user-centered design methodologies at Rabobank. Tamora's educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honors from the University of Oklahoma, alongside continuing education in User Experience Research and Design from Nielsen Norman Group and Human Factors International.
