Alexis Detavernier

Alexis Detavernier is the RDQ Senior Director of Product Innovation at Perfetti Van Melle since October 2023. Previously, from March 2010 to June 2024, Alexis held various leadership roles at Mondelēz International, including Senior Director of R&D for Beverage, Gum, Candy, and Meals across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Responsibilities included managing large teams, developing consumer-centric innovation pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish category strategies. Earlier roles at Mondelēz involved process development, quality improvement, and industrialization of new products in the gum category. Alexis began the career as a Process Engineer at Cadbury plc., focusing on process optimisation and efficiency. Alexis holds a degree in Génie des procédés from HEI - Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur, earned in 2005.
