Jesse Lawrence

Jesse Lawrence leads the legal team for BNY Mellon | Pershing and is a member of the executive committee for Pershing. Throughout his career Jesse has held a number of senior legal and compliance positions at BNY Mellon | Pershing and BNY Mellon Capital Markets.

He is a member of SIFMA’s Compliance & Legal Group, Clearing Firms Forum and the Prime Brokerage and Securities Lending Committee. He also regularly contributes to SIFMA working groups related to capital markets, clearing, margin and operational issues.

Jesse earned his bachelor’s degree in economics, with a minor in management, from Moravian College, and his law degree from Fordham Law School.
