Charles Goldman

Charles Goldman is a board member at Personal Capital and has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Charles has served as the president, CEO, and director of AssetMark since January 2014. Prior to that, they were the chairman of the board of directors for Advizent from January 2012 to March 2013. Charles also served as the chair of the board of directors for Personal Capital from January 2011 to July 2020. In addition, Goldman was a board member of CFP Board from January 2011 to January 2015. Charles has also served as a senior advisor for Bain & Company from January 2010 to January 2014. Prior to that, they were the president of institutional platforms for Fidelity Investments from January 2009 to March 2010. Goldman also served as the head of Schwab Institutional from May 2007 to December 2008 and as the COO of Schwab Institutional from March 2005 to May 2007. Charles began their career at Charles Schwab, where they served as the head of strategy, M&A, and venture capital from May 2004 to April 2005.

Charles Goldman attended the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they earned their MBA in finance, strategy, and marketing. Charles also holds a BS in business administration from the University of Southern California.
