Eric Weiss is the SVP of Growth & Performance Marketing at Personal Capital. Eric has over 25 years of experience in marketing and has held various positions in both the public and private sectors.

Weiss began their career as an adjunct faculty member at the University of San Francisco School of Management. Eric then went on to work as the CMO of WealthTech at TIFIN, where they were responsible for driving enterprise growth. During their time at TIFIN, Weiss successfully overhauled the company branding, website, and content marketing strategy based on primary market research, focus groups, and competitive analyses. Eric also scaled marketing spend across six digital channels while reducing the cost per lead.

In 2016, Weiss joined Personal Capital as the SVP of Growth & Performance Marketing. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company's marketing efforts and driving growth. Under their leadership, Personal Capital has seen significant growth in both web traffic and customer acquisition. Additionally, Weiss has implemented a multi-channel attribution model to replace the last-touch model. As a result of their efforts, Personal Capital has tripled tier 1 PR coverage and other forms of earned, non-paid leads.

Eric Weiss received an MBA from Harvard Business School in Technology Management. Eric then went on to get a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School in Science & Technology. Finally, they completed their undergraduate studies at UC San Diego with a BA in Economics and Political Science.
