Sebastian Enderlein

Sebastian Enderlein has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Sebastian is currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Engineering at Personio, where they have been working since November 2021. Prior to that, Sebastian held the role of Vice President of Engineering at Personio from September 2019 to November 2021.

Before joining Personio, Sebastian worked at Uber, where they held multiple roles, including Sr Manager - Head of Cloud Infrastructure, Engineering Manager II - Head of Cloud Infrastructure, and Engineering Manager (interim Head of Developer Experience). Sebastian was employed at Uber from October 2015 to September 2019.

Sebastian also has experience working at Salesforce, where they served as a Senior Development Manager from February 2013 to October 2015. Sebastian also held the role of Senior Software Developer from September 2011 to April 2014 and worked as a Performance Engineer from November 2009 to August 2011.

Additionally, Sebastian has worked as a Research Assistant at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute from March 2009 to September 2009, as a Master Thesis Student at SAP from August 2008 to March 2009, as a Project Student at Hasso-Plattner-Institute from 2007 to 2008, as a Software Development Intern at SAP Labs Palo Alto from April 2007 to October 2007, and as a Test Engineer Robustness & Quality (Intern) at Texas Instruments from 2004 to 2006.

Sebastian Enderlein has a Master's Degree in Software Systems Engineering from Hasso Plattner Institute, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they also completed a Bachelor's Degree in the same field from Hasso Plattner Institute, studying from 2003 to 2008. In 2005 and 2006, Sebastian Enderlein participated in a Study Abroad (Erasmus) program at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, where they focused on Computer Science.
