Tiarnan O'Doherty

Tiarnan O'Doherty is an experienced project worker currently employed by Peter McVerry Trust since April 2019, providing direct support and advocacy for residents. Tiarnan undertook an exchange as a retail specialist with Erasmus For Young Entrepreneurs in a Greek sports company in 2023. Previously, Tiarnan served as chairperson of Youth and Environment Europe from July 2018 to August 2020, where significant responsibilities included legal representation and coordination among the Executive Board. Additional roles include external relations officer at Youth and Environment Europe and education assistant intern at ECO-UNESCO, alongside support assistant duties at Inspire Foundation and an environmental education intern position at The Rediscovery Centre. Tiarnan holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management from Technological University Dublin, an ERASMUS year degree in Environmental Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Honors Applied Social Studies from the Institute of Technology, Carlow.
