Nini Sopian is a seasoned expert in sustainability and environmental management, currently serving as the Senior Executive of Sustainability Development at PETRONAS Lubricants International since May 2024. Nini has successfully led initiatives such as the assessment of Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions and the Product Carbon Footprint study to enhance corporate sustainability efforts. Previously, as Product Sustainability Manager at Ansell from August 2021 to May 2024, Nini oversaw sustainability practices for the Healthcare Business Unit. Nini's career began at SIRIM Berhad, where complex research and consultancy projects were managed from May 2010 to August 2021. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Surrey, a Master of Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and a Bachelor of Science in Remote Sensing from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
