J.K. Symancyk

J.K. Symancyk is the current President and Chief Executive Officer at PetSmart.

Symancyk began their career with Sam's Club in 1994, eventually becoming the DMM Fresh Foods. J.K. left Sam's Club in 2006 to become the President of Meijer.

In 2015, Symancyk became the CEO & President of Academy Sports + Outdoors. J.K. held this position until 2018 when they became the President and CEO of PetSmart.

J.K. Symancyk attended the University of Arkansas, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Theater.
