Piotr Jaros

Piotr Jaros is a seasoned material engineer currently serving as a Senior Material Engineer in Product Development at Philip Morris International since October 2022. With a focus on fine paper development for conventional cigarettes, Piotr leads innovation and tackles technical challenges in this sector. Prior to this role, Piotr held various positions at SWM International, including Business Product Development Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing product development for overlay papers and delivering tailored solutions for global tobacco clients. Additional experience includes technical sales at Mitex GmbH, conducting market research at Kenniscentrum Papier en Karton, and internships in the field of paper production. Piotr holds a Master’s degree in Paper and Printing Technology from Lodz University of Technology and has furthered professional development through the Scalabl Academy.
