Karen Espineli

Karen Espineli is an accomplished compliance professional with extensive experience in regulatory compliance, data protection, and anti-money laundering. Currently serving as Chief Compliance Officer and Data Protection Officer at AXA Philippines since May 2021, Karen also holds the title of AML and Sanctions Officer. Prior roles include Head of Regulatory Compliance, Risk and Compliance, and Data Protection Officer at Philam Life from September 2019 to May 2021, and Chief Compliance Officer at Paramount Life & General Insurance Corporation from July 2014 to September 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as Corporate Secretary and Legal Counsel at ASIAN INSTITUTE OF JOURNALISM AND COMMUNICATION, INC. and as a Consultant for NOW TELECOM COMPANY, INC. Karen holds a Law degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of the Philippines.
