Karen Albrecht

Karen Albrecht has extensive experience in the field of engineering and management, currently serving as General Manager of Global HSE & Compliance at Phillips 66 since July 2004. In this role, Karen oversees a team of 50 professionals, focusing on business planning, strategy development, and project engineering across refining operations. Previous positions at Phillips 66 include Manager of Global Compliance and Health, Safety & Environmental, Products Optimization Director for the Value Chain, and Product Supply Director for Inland Refineries. Karen has a strong background in value chain optimization and has been involved in negotiating significant commodity contracts. Additionally, service on the Board of the Education Foundation for Billings Public Schools from December 2021 to June 2023 demonstrates a commitment to community engagement. A Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering was earned from UCLA.
