Carl Nguyen

Carl Nguyen has extensive experience in the medical field, with their most recent role as the Medical Director of Stroke at Phoebe Putney Health System since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Neurointensivist at Piedmont Columbus Regional Health starting in 2019. Before that, they completed a Neurocritical Care Fellowship and a Neurology Residency at Augusta University Medical Center from 2013 to 2019. Carl began their medical career with an Internship in Internal Medicine at Cumberland Medical Center from 2012 to 2013.

Carl Nguyen attended Emory University School of Medicine from 2008 to 2012, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology, Neural & Behavioral Sciences from Georgia Southwestern State University.
