Alex Kolar currently serves as General Counsel for Picarro since June 2025. Previously, Kolar held the position of Vice President and General Counsel at Cloud Software Group from 2022 to 2024, where responsibilities included leading a team providing collaborative business and legal advice during the merger of Citrix Systems and TIBCO Software. From 2009 to 2022, Kolar was Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Legal Affairs at TIBCO Software, overseeing legal functions during the acquisition of Citrix Systems, Inc. Earlier experience includes Special Counsel at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, providing counsel in corporate and securities law, and serving as Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Illinois, where responsibilities included drafting legal opinions. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with completion of the High Potential Leadership Program at Vista Equity Partners.
