John O'Hara Horsley

John O'Hara Horsley is an accomplished legal and risk management executive with extensive experience in the technology and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as Chief Risk Officer and General Counsel at Picarro since 2018, Horsley oversees legal governance and risk management for cutting-edge measurement systems in science and industry. Previous roles include Vice President and General Counsel at Soft Machines, where contributions led to a successful acquisition by Intel, and Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Transmeta, which was acquired by Novafora. Additionally, Horsley's experience spans independent management consulting in competition and intellectual property matters, as well as a significant tenure as Chief Counsel for Intellectual Property at the Federal Trade Commission, where leadership was demonstrated in high-profile cases.
