Ilina Kolker-Baravik

ILINA KOLKER BARAVIK, PhD, is an accomplished Senior R&D Scientist and Project Leader at Picodya, specializing in the development of in-vitro diagnostic platforms for point-of-care applications. With extensive research and development experience, ILINA has previously held leadership roles at esteemed institutions such as the University of Toronto, where a paper-based microfluidics platform was developed, and the Weizmann Institute of Science, where expertise in bioengineering led to the creation of a cell-based biosensor. Additional experience includes product development at Alere Inc. and active contributions to biosensor technology at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. ILINA holds a PhD in Chemical and Biological Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, alongside an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Chemistry, respectively, both from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, achieving top academic honors.
