Jake Schirmer

Jacob Schirmer is an experienced financial professional with a robust background in leadership and banking. Currently serving as CEO and Co-Founder of Pilllar, LLC since December 2024, Jacob has held senior positions at various financial institutions, including Senior Commercial Banker - SVP at WesBanco from July 2022 to December 2024, and CEO at The Walker Company of Kentucky, Inc. from September 2019 to July 2022. Prior roles include Managing Director at Commonwealth Infrastructure Fund, Vice President of Commercial Lending at Central Bank & Trust Co., and various vice president and lending roles at United Bank, American Founders Bank, and Hickory Point Bank. Jacob Schirmer holds an MBA in Marketing/Finance from Illinois State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
