The executive team at Pima Community College has a history of experience in various industries and levels of education. Some members have served as board members at NACUBO, assistant treasurer at Claremont University Consortium, business manager at Times Mirror Magazines, and dean of instruction for career and technical education (Mesa Community College) at Maricopa Community Colleges. Other members have been professor and chair of the business department at City College of San Francisco, instructor of management at Santa Clara University, professor at Arizona International College of the University of Arizona, technology services director at Town of Marana, and information technology manager at City of Tucson. The team's education histories include higher education from Claremont Graduate University, educational administration from Pepperdine University, management from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, Latin American literature and Chicano literature from the University of Arizona, Hispanic and Latin American literature from the University of Arizona, management information systems from the University of Illinois Springfield, and interdisciplinary studies in computer science, mathematics and Spanish from the University of Arizona.
