At Pinnacle X-Ray Solutions, you will play a key role in the construction and implementation of these mission critical non-destructive testing systems.

Role Description

  • Provide robust electrical design for our custom our x-ray systems which include stand alone, cabinets, multiple axes for vaults, single-dual robotic vaults, existing vault upgrades.
  • Design and prepare electrical drawings for integration of system components which include power distribution, safety control, axes control (rotary and linear encoders), robotic control-safety, x-ray control-safety, PLC controls (part handling, door control, safety logic) and lighting.
  • Prepare bill of materials.
  • Manage electrical suppliers which provide CAD electrical drawing generation and electrical panel production.
  • Work with suppliers to make sure they provide quality inspections on critical dimensions as per drawing.
  • Servo motion control including drive configuration and axes tuning.
  • Calculate required customer supplied power requirements.
  • Closely interface with manufacturing to support product assembly, testing, troubleshooting and installation.
  • Interface with project management to ensure projects meet schedule and delivery requirements.
  • Work on multiple concurrent projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Participate in internal system design reviews. Provide design and technical support throughout product lifecycle. Work closely with mechanical design and operations team.
  • Customer support for electrical technical issues.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to develop innovative solutions.
  • Minimal travel is required for on site installation of larger vault systems.

Qualifications

  • BSEE or Associate Degree
  • 8 years’ experience, able to read and implement electrical drawings for system integration
  • Must be a US citizen (No dual citizenship)
  • Must have valid driver’s license and have or obtain a US passport

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • Electrical CAD development (SOLIDWORKS Electrical desirable).
  • PLC logic control. PLC Ladder logic programming.
  • Servo motion knowledge desirable (i.e. servo drive, VFD drive).
  • Experience with industrial robots from a safety control standpoint desirable.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
