John C. Distaso

John C. Distaso is the current Vice President of Marketing at Pioneer Natural Resources. John has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Pioneer Natural Resources, they were with Deloitte Consulting as a Specialist Master from May 2011 to May 2012. Before that, they were the Vice President of International Marketing at Devon Energy from January 2004 to December 2011. John also served as the Director of Crude Oil Marketing at Apache Corporation from January 1998 to December 2004. Their career in the oil and gas industry started at Mobil Oil in March 1983 where they served as the Global Area Manager until April 1998.

John C. Distaso has an MBA from San Diego State University and a BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. John also has a BA in Philosophy from UC San Diego.

John C. Distaso reports to Scott D. Sheffield, Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Bonnie S. Black - Vice President, Drilling, Thomas D. Sheffield - VP Health, Safety and Environment, and Craig Kuiper - Vice President, Production Operations.
