John Geelan

John Geelan is the managing director, general counsel and secretary at Piper Jaffray. John has held this position since January 2013. Prior to that, they were an assistant general counsel and principal at Piper Sandler from January 2005 to January 2013. Before that, they were an associate at Faegre & Benson LLP from January 2000 to December 2004, where they focused on corporate finance.

John Geelan's educational career consists of a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School and a B.A., cum laude, in Economics and Music, Classical Guitar, from the University of St. Thomas.
