Brenda Stone

Brenda Stone has over 25 years of experience in human resources and organization development. Brenda has held roles such as Director of Organization and Talent Development at Pivot Bio, Human Resources Manager at New Island Capital Management, and Director of Human Resources at Code for America. Throughout their career, they have worked with various organizations, including the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

Brenda Stone completed their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Business from the University of California, Berkeley in 1991. Brenda then pursued a Master of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, graduating in 2017. Brenda has also obtained the SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in 2015, the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from HRCI in 2000, and a certification in Training and HR Development from UC Berkeley Extension in 1996.
