Robbie Schingler is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Planet Labs. Robbie has also previously worked as the Chief of Staff in the Office of the Chief Technologist at NASA Headquarters, a Policy and Management Analyst, and a Presidential Management Fellow. In addition, they have also worked as a Summer Associate at the Congressional Budget Office.

Robbie Schingler has always been interested in space and technology. Robbie started their career working as a Policy and Management Analyst at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). Robbie was selected as a Presidential Management Fellow in 2005 and went on to work at NASA Headquarters. There, they helped Bobby Braun, then NASA Chief Technologist, to incubate the Office of the Chief Technologist and start the Space Technology program.

In 2010, Robbie Schingler co-founded Planet Labs, a company that designs and manufactures small satellites. The company’s mission is to use technology to help solve some of the world’s biggest problems. Planet Labs’ satellites have been used for disaster relief, environmental monitoring, and mapping.

Robbie Schingler has an MBA from the McDonnough School of Business at Georgetown University, with a focus in strategy and social entrepreneurship. Robbie also has a certificate in international business diplomacy from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. Robbie Schingler's educational background also includes a master's degree in space studies with a focus on space policy from the International Space University, as well as a bachelor's degree in engineering physics with a special emphasis in aeronautics and astronautics from Santa Clara University.

Their manager is Will Marshall, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Kevin Weil - President, Product & Business, Charlie Candy - Chief Revenue Officer, and Kristie Erickson - Chief People Officer.
