Eric Shierling

Eric Shierling is a seasoned manufacturing engineer with extensive experience in production optimization and engineering roles. Currently employed at PlayCore, Eric focuses on enhancing efficiency, quality, and cost performance in metal fabrication, powder coating, and assembly operations. Eric also operates Rad Dad Metals, providing CNC plasma cutting services for custom metal art and gifts. Previous positions include Director of Fabrication Service & Application Engineering and Application Engineer at HART Machine Tool, where Eric played a key role in customer support and application solutions for laser systems. Earlier experience at Ford Meter Box involved project engineering, manufacturing, and CAD drafting, backed by a Bachelor of Science in Applied Manufacturing Engineering from Jacksonville State University and an Associate of Applied Science from Gadsden State Community College.
