Phyllis Whiteley

Phyllis Whiteley is a Venture Partner at Playground Global. Phyllis has also served as the CEO of Lassogen, Inc., Artificial, Inc., Nalu Bio, Alydia Health, Carrum Health, and BodyPort. In addition, they were the Executive Director of NVision and the University of Texas System. Phyllis has a wealth of experience in the corporate world and has been instrumental in the success of many businesses.

Phyllis Whiteley received their PhD in Pharmacology and Immunology from Washington University in St. Louis. Phyllis also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the same school.

They are on a team with Jeff Freburg - VP Real Estate & Operations, Guocong Song - Data Scientist, and Sasha Ostojic - Operating Partner. Phyllis Whiteley reports to Matt Hershenson, Founding Partner.
