Georgios Panagiotou

Georgios Panagiotou serves as the VP of Engineering at Plum since November 2024, following a tenure as Engineering Group Lead at Trade Republic from October 2021 to October 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Domain Architect at Klarna from September 2017 to June 2021, where responsibilities encompassed establishing software and systems architecture processes in the Consumer Card domain. Georgios has also held positions such as Engineering Manager at Klarna, overseeing Direct Debit Networks and conducting technical interviews, and Technical Lead at Microsoft - Skype Engineering Services, where Georgios designed and architected a testing service for Skype and related products. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Software Engineer and Quality Engineer at Skype, along with positions at the Centre of Information Technology Support of the Hellenic Army, Ingate Systems, and Appear Networks. Georgios holds a Master's degree in Wireless Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Science and Technology from the University of Peloponnese.
