Dan Sheehan has held a variety of roles in the financial services industry since 2002. Dan began their career at MetLife as an Assistant VP/ Dir of Business Development, leading an organization of 22 associates and managing a $3 million dollar annual budget. In 2013, they joined Protective Life as a 2nd Vice President, Product Marketing and Communications, where they created and executed innovative platforms including marketing, training and communications, and integrated 3 distinct organizations into one cohesive unit. Later that year, Dan joined National Life Group as a Director, Product Marketing I Business Development, where they created an existing customer contact strategy resulting in a 25% increase in sales by target audience and transformed sales and marketing resources from 90% agent focused to 90% consumer focused. In 2016, they moved to MassMutual South Florida as Vice President of Sales, where they identified, attracted and developed new associates to scratch organization, and built and delivered a unique training platform suited to local business needs. In 2019, Dan joined New York Life Insurance Company as a Partner, with the focus on recruiting within the financial services industry and attracting, hiring, and retaining outstanding individuals. Currently, Dan is the VP of Sales at Plum Life.
Dan Sheehan obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from S.U.N.Y Farmingdale between 1983 and 1985. In 2016, they obtained their Series 6 and 215 certifications from FINRA and the State of Florida, respectively. In 2019, they obtained their Series 63 certification from FINRA.
