Kobi Shalom joined Poalim Capital Markets (PCM) as CEO in January 2020.

Kobi Shalom joined Poalim Capital Markets with an extensive background in leading value creation through investments in the real estate, infrastructure, energy, insurance, healthcare and technology sectors. Kobi has a proven track - record of success in leading and implementing effective growth and performance optimization processes generating high yields to investors.

Wide Expertise in identifying and sourcing investments, project finance, performing in depth due diligence and complex structuring of financing solutions. Extensive experience in debt restructuring plans, repositioning and workouts of distressed assets. Highly accomplished in the formation of strategic partnerships and alliances among leading institutions in Israel and globally.

Prior to joining PCM Kobi served as the Executive Vice President, Head of Credit, Alternatives and Private Investments at Clal Insurance Company

Prior to this previous position, Kobi was a Managing Partner at RONKO CAPITAL PARTNERS a Private Equity Fund.

Before Ronko Capital Partners Kobi served as the Head of Infrastructure and Value Add Investments at Africa Israel Investments, an international holdings and investments group.

Prior to that Kobi Served in several positions in Israeli ministry offices including the Mistry of Finance Office, Prime Minister’s Office etc.

Koby holds a B.A. Business and L.L.B Law from the interdisciplinary Center Herzliya Israel
