Previously, April worked as an Account Supervisor at Action Mary, where they oversaw media campaigns and communications projects for a variety of clients. April was also instrumental in growing the company from 4 employees to 12+.

Before Action Mary, April was with Vital Content PR, where they co-managed a handful of clients and helped them with their various PR needs, including media relations, ghostwriting, award applications, crisis management, and strategic counsel. During their time at Vital Content PR, they garnered media coverage from some of the most prestigious publications in the world, such as the Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor, Glamour, Food & Wine, Bloomberg, and multiple Pacific Northwest local news sources.
