Santosh Ameti

Santosh Ameti is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of Generative AI Foundations at Point72 since May 2025, focusing on building next-generation Generative AI platforms for the investment sector. Prior to this role, Ameti worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from September 2017 to May 2025 as an Engineering Leader for Amazon Bedrock, leading initiatives in developing user-friendly Generative AI applications. Ameti also held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Groupon from June 2015 to September 2017, managing the Inventory Platform for the Getaways team. Earlier experience includes a role as Software Development Manager at Amazon.com from February 2011 to May 2015, contributing to the Delivery Messaging project for Amazon Prime, and as Software Development Engineer 2 at Microsoft from July 2010 to February 2011, working on DNS management in the Windows 8 server networking team. Ameti earned a B.E. (Hons.) in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from January 2002 to January 2006.
