Toby Chalberg

Toby Chalberg is the Chief Digital Officer at Points of Light. Toby has over fifteen years of experience in social impact, strategy, and product development.

Most recently, Toby served as the SVP of Digital Strategy, Business Development, and Nonprofit Partnerships at Points of Light. In this role, Toby led the product and engineering team for Points of Light Digital. Toby also forged cause marketing and audience engagement partnerships with brands that leverage our digital tools to reach, activate, and reward people and nonprofits for the good they do.

Prior to joining Points of Light, Toby served as the Chief Strategy Officer & VP of Public Policy at the Points of Light Institute. In this role, Toby was responsible for leading the organization’s public policy work and advancing its social innovation agenda.

Toby has also worked as a Senior Consultant at Community Wealth Ventures, where they supported nonprofit clients in designing and implementing mission-aligned earned income strategies for sustainability. Engagements involved market analysis, pricing, revenue model design, and development of written social ROI and business case statements.

Toby began their career as the Finance Chair at Break Away, where they were responsible for financial oversight and business strategy. Toby holds a B.A. from Yale University.

Toby Chalberg studied Interdisciplinary Honors at Vanderbilt University before embarking on an independent study of politics, history, and economics at Universidad de la Habana.

Their manager is Natalye Paquin, President & CEO. They are on a team with Kelly Kener - Vice President of Individual Giving, Jenny Lawson - Chief Civic Innovation Officer, and Elizabeth Schwan-Rosenwald - Chief Program & Network Officer.
