Rodrigo Pimentel has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Rodrigo is currently working at Polarsteps as a Lead Backend Engineer since June 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Engineering at the same company from September 2022 to June 2023.
Before joining Polarsteps, Rodrigo worked at Stream as the Director of Engineering from August 2021 to June 2022.

Before that, Rodrigo held positions as a Software Developer and Systems Analyst at Convergys from December 2005 to March 2007, and as a Python/Zope/Plone Developer at 4FS from June 2005 to December 2005.
Rodrigo Pimentel obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Vision for mobile computing, Localisation and Mapping from USP - Universidade de São Paulo. This degree was earned from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Centro Universitario Senac. Rodrigo'seducation journey began at USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 1996 to 2003, where they studied Physics and Computer Science, although the specific degree obtained during this time is not mentioned.
